JOURNEY TOWARD CREATION (2003)
I began working at Reasons To Believe in 1999. One of the first things I was asked to do was submit my comments on their video documentary, called Journey Toward Creation. Although it was generally well done, I felt it had lots of room for improvement.
I finally got the opportunity to remake Journey Toward Creation in 2002. My wife (who also works at Reasons To Believe) helped with the new script. Together, we tossed out and wrote new sections to focus the material on one specific theme. We then re-shot and added new scenes. We re-recorded all of the narrator's dialogue, to avoid any change in color from the old recording to the new one. New images were found and purchased as well as several new 3D animation sequences were created. I did most of the animation; however some of the more difficult material had to be outsourced.
We finally released the video in June of 2003 and is now available on AMAZON.COM. Since then it has gone on to become one of the winners in the 2004 Angel Awards.
