A TWIST IN TIME (1996)
Working at Stillwater Productions was a lot of fun. I had two bosses, Mike Joens and Ken Johnson. They both live and breathe the world of animation, and sometimes acted as if they were cartoon characters. Stillwater produced the Adventures in Odyssey series, the McGee and Me series and several other television commercials including the popular Hungry Hungry Hippos commercial. As the production manager for Stillwater Productions I made sure the entire animation process ran smoothly. I worked with the artists and an animation company in Korea.
With all my other films here on this site, I am working behind the scenes. But with clip, I am actually in the cartoon. There was this character we were designing for A Twist In Time and Ken Johnson the director was not happy with any of the conceptual drawings. Finally he told the artist, try making him look like Robert. So here is a short clip. I'm the guy in the purple hat.
