FLYBY
In preparation for a new documentary; I’ve been researching 3D terrain simulators. The easiest one I’ve found is a free program called Terragen . I’ve made a few test renders of some my sample animations and have put them here for you to enjoy.
Even though the animation is small here, it was originally rendered in high definition, so you can imagine how spectacular it looks full screen. The good news is you can download an HD version of this by right clicking here and select "SAVE TARGET AS". The bad news is that it is about 68 megs in size. But if you are on a fast internet connection - this should not be a problem.
One of my favorite movies is Koyaanisqatsi, which is virtually all music married to artistic visuals. If you have seen that film, this may remind you of it.
